There's something beautiful yet haunting about this movie poster from Silence of the Lambs - The beauty of the moth containing the eerie image of the skull is in contrast with innocent eyes in the background. The skull magnified is made up of naked women, referring to the movie's storyline about a sadistic serial killer. The soft greys of the face contrasts beautifully with the deep red of her irises, along with the moth's wings. Its an interesting colour combination. 

"Urban Butterfly" is the name of my new collection. The moodboard reflects the delicate nature of the butterfly, its wings and graceful compose, in contrast to an urbanised city, of  deteriorating buildings and graffiti. It reflects a city where bored artists wander at night, using the old walls as their canvas, yet nature still seeps through, as weeds through the cracks and butterflys roaming. I am looking forward to creating some new designs - soft, light fabrics paired with the hardness of denim and linen. Colours will be blue, black white and grey, with flashes of gold and red thrown in too.
